Pandelion Ltd ("we", "us") is a UK design consultancy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and in the course of our work, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Pandelion Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom, is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@pandelion.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us and the minimum needed to run this site: your name, email address, company, and anything you include when you contact us or book a call; correspondence with us; and basic, aggregated website analytics (pages visited, approximate location, device type). We do not collect special-category data and we do not buy data about you.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare and deliver engagements, keep required business records, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing you haven't asked for.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on: performance of a contract (or steps you ask us to take before one) when you engage us; legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and basic analytics; consent where we ask for it; and legal obligation for records we must keep.
Sharing
We never sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (email, scheduling, hosting, accounting), under contracts that restrict what they can do with it, and where required by law. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years, client engagement records for six years after the engagement ends (as required for UK tax and legal purposes), and analytics in aggregated form only. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict our use of it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@pandelion.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work and, where you accept them, basic analytics cookies. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.
